C. Maurice Holland was a vaudevillian and Broadway actor (1920s) who joined JWT in 1936 to direct radio shows, including Kraft Television Theatre, a live anthology drama series on NBC (1948-1958). He died 14 Nov. 1974 in Greenwich, CT. The collection includes scripts for and copies of outgoing memoranda regarding content and format of television programs and advertisements, as well as budget information for selected shows (1958-1959). Programs include Bat Masterson, The Jackie Gleason Show, Kraft Television Theatre, Naked City, and The Price Is Right. Actors represented include Milton Berle and Jackie Gleason. Clients include Kraft, Quaker Oats, Rinso Blue, and the Advertising Council. Also includes copies of outgoing correspondence to script writers, NBC, and the JWT Chicago Office. Acquired as part of the John W. Hartman Center for Sales, Advertising & Marketing History.

Bat Masterson (born William Barclay Masterson, Nov. 26, 1853, Henryville, Quebec–d. Oct. 25, 1921, New York City, NY) moved to the Grait Plains as a teen to hunt buffalo.
